State Motel
is on US 27 in Haines City (863-422-1331). They have efficiency apartments for
$235 for a week or $44.00 a night but no pets are allowed. (It might be cheaper
during the summer.) If you call ahead of time they can reserve a nicer room
for you. Just mention Renee Krabbe with Renee’s Resales recommended you. This
motel is right next to a very good restaurant that we visit often called R-place
Eatery. They have all kinds of food and breakfast anytime of the day and
wonderful pizza. Right across the street is Manny’s Chop House. You will not
find a more popular place to eat in all East Polk County. They open at 4:00 in
the afternoon and serve all evening. This motel is not a real fancy one but if
you don’t want a lot of money in sleeping arrangements this might be sufficient
for you. |
